WebTestCenter

Version
1.0.0
Status
Stable
Requires
WP 5.8+, PHP 7.4+, WPForms Lite

WPForms Lite emails you each submission but doesn’t keep a copy on your site. Entry Capture for WPForms Lite is WebSite Relief’s add-on that stores every submission in the site’s database and adds Pro-style features on top. It runs on WebSite Relief client sites; it isn’t installed on WebTestCenter, so there’s no live test bench for it here.

Features

  • Entries screen: search, filter by form, date, unread or starred; bulk mark read/unread, star, export or delete.
  • Single entry view with visitor details (date, user, IP, user agent, page URL), newer/older navigation and private notes.
  • CSV export with the same filters as the entries screen, or of selected entries. Excel-friendly UTF-8, with protection against formula injection.
  • Per-form extra email notifications (multiple recipients, Reply-To set to the submitter).
  • Per-form webhooks: JSON POST to Zapier, Make, n8n or any URL, with an optional HMAC signature, a test button and the last delivery status.
  • Form restrictions: require login, open/close date and time, total entry limit. These hide the form and reject submissions on the server, which covers cached pages and direct POSTs.
  • Dashboard widget, unread count in the admin menu, auto-delete after N days, optional IP storage, and opt-in data removal on uninstall.

Entries are saved on the wpforms_process_complete hook, after WPForms has validated the submission and run its spam checks.

Requirements

WordPress 5.8+, PHP 7.4+ (tested on 8.3 and 8.5), and WPForms Lite (tested on 2.0.2.1).

Install

Upload entry-capture-for-wpforms.zip in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then activate it. Per-form options (notifications, webhooks, restrictions) are under Entry Capture → Settings.

Developer hooks

  • fec_entry_captured( $entry_id, $fields, $form_data, $settings ): action after each submission.
  • fec_capability: filter the capability needed to manage entries (default manage_options).
  • fec_webhook_request_args: filter the wp_remote_post() arguments.
  • fec_notification_headers: filter extra notification email headers.
